The project concerns the machinery isolation in the technical room located on the top floor of the building. To limit the amplification of vibrations coming from the HVAC, due to the use of concrete structures, an anti-vibration solution was used with the application of PAD 50/500.
Requirement.
Mitigate vibrations emitted by air treatment machinery installed in the technical room, adjacent to the building structure.
Suggested solution.
Given the low weight of the machines and the different technical characteristics, an anti-vibration system was proposed consisting of an inertial mass for each machine resting on a hybrid system made of Isolgomma PAD 50/500 and double-layer FYBRO 50 polyester fibre used as filler.
Result.
The performance limits imposed were respected.
