The Waltherpark Bolzano project involved the renovation of the area around the old bus station through the construction of a shopping center with underground parking, a hotel, apartments and offices. In order to limit vibrations from the loading/unloading area, MEGAMAT 25/650 was supplied under the industrial flooring.
Requirement.
Reduce vibrations emitted by loading and unloading vehicles that disturb the comfort of environments, with a negative effect on people's quality of life.
Suggested solution.
To meet the customer's construction requirements and reduce the problems of vibrations caused by vehicles in transit for loading and unloading goods, an anti-vibration solution was suggested with Isolgomma panels laid continuously under the screed. The use of MEGAMAT 25/650 allowed vibration control, avoiding transmission to the structures above.
Result.
This intervention has significantly reduced the vibrations generated, improving the quality of the building's environment.
